Plot: After Vishwas Rao (Shahid Kapoor) is raised up by his Mother (Padmini Kolhapure), who apparently dreams of him to become a Police Inspector, he has different plans in mind. After helping out a social-worker Kajal (Ileana D’Cruz), whilst dressed as an Police Inspector for a photo shoot, she mistakes him as an Inspector, and he eventually plays along. After travelling to Mumbai to pursue his acting career, he is mistakenly published in the newspaper as an Inspector, which also his Mother sees. She arrives to Mumbai in order to see her dream come true, and circumstances lead Vishwas to carry on his lie as a fake cop to not only Kajal, but apparently his Mother also.
